Mark Weston

It's been fourteen years now since I started up the English Camp, running residential study and activity holidays for Italians on Lake Como, Sondrio, Verona and, of course, in Ireland. This combination of language, adventure, sport and culture has had kids coming back year after year and we are now putting together programmes for university students and special interest groups and associations. Apart from teaching at primary, secondary and third level, I organize language training programmes for companies as well as courses of all kinds for adults.
In my free time I like to do some sport and go for walks with my dog Charlie.  These days I'm trying to come to grips with archery and playing the bodhràn.
I live  with my wife in a historic farmhouse just outside the lovely city of Verona.

I am an English teacher in schools, university and companies of all kinds as well as professional translator and interpreter, I  have been involved in the English Camp summer programmes since the outset.

Living on Lake Como at the foothills of the Italian Alps, I am still enchanted by the beauty of the place after over twenty years.

An avid photographer, painter, cook and gardener, I spend most of my free time outdoors - hiking, kayaking, or, in winter, cross-country skiing. This year I am learning to climb.
